TERMS OF SERVICE.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging the services of BlackGuard Detailing LLC ("BlackGuard," "we," "us") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not schedule or receive services from us.
2. Services
BlackGuard provides mobile and in-studio automotive detailing, paint correction, and protective coating services. The scope, pricing, and expected results of each engagement are confirmed in a written estimate provided before work begins. Any work outside that estimate requires your written approval.
3. Estimates & Payment
All estimates are non-binding starting points based on vehicle size and reported condition. Final pricing is confirmed after an in-person surface analysis. Payment is due in full upon completion of service. We accept cash, major credit cards, and approved digital payment methods. A deposit may be required to reserve an appointment.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations within 24 hours, or no-shows, may be subject to a fee equal to the deposit or up to 25% of the estimated service value.
5. Vehicle Condition & Disclosure
You agree to disclose any pre-existing damage, prior repairs, aftermarket coatings, or known sensitivities (e.g., soft or repainted panels) before service begins. BlackGuard is not liable for damage arising from undisclosed conditions or defects not visible at the time of inspection.
6. Results & Limitations
Detailing and coating services improve but cannot guarantee perfection. Some defects — deep scratches, oxidation below the clear coat, staining, and wear — may not be fully removable. Coating longevity depends on proper maintenance and environmental exposure and is not guaranteed beyond the terms of any written warranty.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlackGuard's liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, diminution of value, or transportation costs.
8. Personal Property
Please remove valuables and personal items from your vehicle before service. BlackGuard is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal property left in a vehicle in our care.
9. Coating Warranty
Where a coating is sold with a written warranty, that warranty covers manufacturer-identified defects in the coating film only, contingent on completion of any required maintenance inspections. The warranty does not cover damage from accidents, improper care, neglect, or environmental events.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your appointment applies to that engagement. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
